Too many great games are being launched and going unplayed because people just don't hear about them. Here at Evolve, we know how difficult it can be to make your game stand out and how much of a difference having a top-quality trailer and professional PR makes. We recently started producing trailers and gameplay videos in-house, and we'd like to think we're doing a good job with it; check out some samples here.

Now, professional trailer production can be a bit expensive for many indie devs, so we thought, "Why not do some of this s**t for free?!" Okay, maybe giving our work away for free isn't a great idea, but still, we're looking for one awesome game that we can create a head-turning trailer for. and then get in front of Evolve's network of media and influencers through our oh-so-awesome Terminals.io platform. All you have to do is show us some of your sweet, sweet gameplay on Twitter and tell us why your game (or company) really should be considered for a free trailer produced by Evolve's video department.

Just in case you needed more incentive to enter, we've put together our vision of the worst trailer ever. Remember, this is a dramatic recreation of what your trailer could end up looking like without professional help...

The rules

Round one. Fight!

To enter your game, simply tweet a very short gameplay GIF between 9AM PDT on Oct 18th, 2017 and 5PM PST on Nov 24th, 2017 with "#winatrailer @evolve_pr" included and a link to your game's website (or Steam page or other online presence). Tweets without a gameplay GIF attached or without "#winatrailer @evolve_pr" won't be considered. Next, fill out the form below with a link to your tweet. IMPORTANT: You must fill out the form below to officially enter the competition. Your game must be on track to launch in 2018, and you also shouldn't already have a launch trailer (see the Terms of Service for more info). The Evolve PR team will narrow these entries down to the top 10, who will move on to the next round. Here's an example so you can see the kind of stiff competition you are going to be up against...

Round two.

The top 10 entries from round one will be submitted to a panel of judges consisting of journalist giants, big-name devs, and prominent content creators who will choose a final winner.

1st Place:

We'll give you the complete luxury trailer treatment ($8000+ value). We'll work with you to build something brilliant, starting with a full dissection of your game - what makes it tick? What will people love about it? We'll then leverage our extensive PR knowledge to develop a full concept and deliver it expertly. Trust us, it's gonna be good.
